Electrification of the Barajas combined heat and power plant
We carried out the expansion of two existing busbar systems using two 6.6 kV switchgear units, a distribution centre comprising 16 6.6 kV switchgear units, and the supply and installation of four new electric centrifugal chillers, each with a cooling capacity of 3.3 MW, and two electric boilers, each with a thermal output of 10 MW.
Additional work on the project
We carried out the rewiring of six existing electric centrifugal chillers to the new distribution centre, a new cold room to house the four new electric centrifugal chillers, and a new medium-voltage room to house the new distribution centre. All the mechanical, electrical, control and commissioning works necessary for the operation of the new equipment.
