Comprehensive installation services
Construction of a new power station for the most important airport in the AENA network. The aim is to replace three existing substations in order to guarantee both normal and emergency power supplies to Terminals T1, T2 and T3, as well as to future extensions.
Centralisation of part of the airport’s current electricity distribution system, which will have three 45 kV feeders and will step down the voltage to 15 kV to supply the distribution lines (300,000 ml of cable to be laid) to a total of 20 transformer stations. To this end, three 15/20 MVA power transformers will be installed, and there will be around 189 medium-voltage substations.
For emergency power supply, the plant will be equipped with four generator sets, each with a capacity of 4MVA, with provision for future expansion to include a further two generator sets of the same capacity. These generator sets will generate electricity at 6kV, so each will be supplemented by a step-up transformer to 15kV.
