Emergency Power Generation in Tenerife and Fuerteventura
The project provides a total of 60 MW of backup generation capacity to respond to power emergencies in Tenerife and Fuerteventura.
It comprises four plants: La Herradura and Puerto de Santa Cruz, each with 18 MW of capacity; Los Realejos, with 15 MW; and La Campana, with 9 MW. These facilities play a key role in ensuring a reliable power supply across the islands’ electrical grids.
